Effective date: June 26, 2026
Channel Fusion uses artificial intelligence to help customers and partners plan, create, automate, and analyze channel programs. This policy sets the baseline for safe, transparent, and responsible use of AI in our products and services.
This policy supplements, and does not replace, Channel Fusion’s Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and any applicable customer agreement. If there is a conflict, the applicable customer agreement controls for that customer relationship. Otherwise, the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use control for privacy, data processing, website use, liability, warranties, disclaimers, and general legal matters. This policy explains the AI-specific expectations, safeguards, and use restrictions that apply to Channel Fusion AI features.
This policy applies to AI and machine learning features made available through Channel Fusion products and services, and to AI-assisted workflows we use to support, secure, operate, or improve those services.
Depending on the products and features used, this may include AI-assisted workflows for partner enablement, channel marketing, MDF administration, incentives and rebates, partner communications, campaign creation, lead routing, analytics, support operations, and related business functions.
Channel Fusion AI should be useful, reliable, fair, secure, and accountable.
We expect AI to support channel operations without misleading users, undermining partner trust, or replacing human judgment where important business decisions are involved.
We design AI systems to respect privacy, minimize unnecessary data use, and provide meaningful transparency about how outputs are generated and used.
AI should be used where it is appropriate for the workflow, risk level, and customer context.
You may not use Channel Fusion AI, or facilitate others in using it, to:
Channel Fusion AI should use only the data needed to provide the requested service.
We do not use customer data to train third-party foundation models unless the customer has expressly agreed to that use in writing.
Customer data may be used only to operate, secure, debug, support, and improve Channel Fusion services in accordance with our agreements and privacy commitments.
Channel Fusion does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists.
Channel Fusion does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without explicit consent.
Access to sensitive, partner, or customer information must be limited to authorized personnel and approved providers with appropriate safeguards.
When Channel Fusion AI features rely on third-party AI models or services, those providers must be selected and configured in a way that is consistent with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, security obligations, and any customer-specific contractual commitments.
Providers that process customer data for AI-enabled services are subject to contractual restrictions on use, confidentiality, security, retention, and model training.
Where supported by the product and customer agreement, customers may request configuration, limitation, or disabling of AI-enabled features for specific workflows or users.
Security incidents involving customer data are handled under our applicable agreements, legal obligations, and incident response process. Material AI-related incidents affecting customer-facing AI features will be investigated and addressed through the appropriate support, security, contractual, or legal channel.
AI outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, incorrect, biased, or outdated.
Users must review AI-generated content before relying on it for customer communications, partner-facing materials, pricing, incentives, deal support, compliance decisions, partner scoring, attribution, or any other consequential action.
Where AI contributes meaningfully to a published message, recommendation, or operational decision, a qualified human must remain accountable for approval.
Unless expressly agreed with a customer and configured with appropriate controls, Channel Fusion AI features do not make final approval, denial, payment, eligibility, partner-status, compliance, enforcement, legal, employment, financial, health, safety, or other high-impact decisions on their own.
Channel Fusion may require additional review for high-risk workflows, including partner scoring, eligibility, attribution, incentive administration, compliance-sensitive communications, and any workflow that could materially affect partner access or compensation.
Users should not assume that a confident-sounding AI output is correct. They should verify the factual basis, check whether the output is current, and ensure the output is suitable for the intended audience and use case.
Channel Fusion AI must support partner trust, not erode it.
AI-generated content should not be presented as human-authored when that would materially mislead a customer, partner, or end user.
If a workflow materially affects partner experience, ranking, eligibility, attribution, incentive access, or program participation, the basis for the decision should be documented and explainable to the extent reasonably possible.
We expect transparent labeling, clear prompts where appropriate, and sensible disclosures when AI is used in externally facing communications.
Where appropriate, AI-assisted content should be reviewed before publication so that brand voice, claims, partner commitments, and factual statements remain accurate and appropriate.
AI should not reinforce unfair treatment across customers, partners, dealers, distributors, regions, languages, markets, or business types.
We consider fairness risks that can matter in channel ecosystems, including whether AI-assisted features could:
Fairness does not mean every partner receives the same recommendation. It means AI-assisted treatment should be relevant, explainable, and grounded in legitimate business context.
Channel Fusion applies safeguards to AI features based on their risk, maturity, data sensitivity, and customer impact.
Controls may include access limits, content filters, grounding and retrieval controls, logging, rate limits, abuse detection, human review, escalation paths, and post-release monitoring.
AI-specific risks include harmful or inaccurate output, data leakage, prompt injection, unauthorized data access, model misuse, over-automation, and unreliable recommendations.
We will be transparent that AI can produce output that is incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect. Product experiences should help users understand when human review is needed.
Channel Fusion designs its AI practices to support compliance with applicable privacy, security, data protection, intellectual property, consumer protection, anti-discrimination, and AI-related obligations.
This policy does not provide legal advice. Customers should consult their own advisors to determine how AI-related laws and obligations apply to their use of Channel Fusion.
We monitor responsible AI frameworks and legal developments, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, state privacy laws, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
We do not treat all AI uses the same. A content summary tool is not the same as a claims flag, and a claims flag is not the same as an automated eligibility, payment, compliance, or enforcement decision.
Customers are responsible for how they configure and use Channel Fusion in their own business context. Our responsibility is to provide clear information, appropriate controls, and a product that supports responsible use.
Responsible AI works best when both Channel Fusion and its customers do their part.
Customers and users are responsible for using AI-enabled features lawfully and responsibly, in line with their own policies, applicable laws, Channel Fusion’s Terms of Use, and any applicable agreement with Channel Fusion.
Customers and users should not use Channel Fusion AI features to create unlawful content, violate anyone’s rights, submit data they do not have the right to use, bypass security controls, harvest information without consent, or interfere with Channel Fusion services.
Customers and users should review AI-assisted output before relying on it for meaningful business decisions.
Customers and users should not treat AI-generated content, summaries, recommendations, or analysis as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
Channel Fusion will work to provide appropriate tools, controls, and information to support responsible use. Customers and users are expected to use those tools responsibly.
Channel Fusion may monitor use of its AI capabilities to protect users, customers, partners, and the platform.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to AI features if this policy is violated or if use creates legal, security, privacy, operational, or reputational risk.
We may also remove content, decline to process certain requests, or take other reasonable steps to protect users, customers, partners, Channel Fusion, our services, or the public.
This policy may be updated from time to time as our products, customers, legal obligations, and technology evolve.
The most current version will govern unless a separate customer agreement states otherwise.
